FIRM HISTORY

THE BEGINNING

In 1990 engineers Georgi Atanasov Horev and Rumen Georgiev Horev set up MIX-RH Partnership. The company objects included design, construction, equipment and furnishing of complex objects. The company was registered pursuant to Order No 5556 of the Plovdiv Regional Court, company file No 4684.

DEVELOPMENT

In 1999 MIX-RH Partnership was transformed into MIX-RH LTD. pursuant to Order No 5291 of the Plovdiv Regional Court, company file No 3490. In the same year, MIX-RH LTD. was awarded a tender for consultancy and investor control services in South Bulgaria by the World Bank. Licence No SK-26 of 31 August 1999 granted by the Bulgarian Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works gave the company the right to act as supervisor in all areas of design and construction as of 01 September 1999.

The focus of MIX-RH LTD.'s business gradually shifted towards provision of Consulting Engineer services in design and construction in compliance with the principles of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) adapted to the World Bank requirements. The company's first project in this field was the Reconstruction and Extension of Novotel Plovdiv.

Design became the main object of the new CONSULT MIXENGINEERING LTD. company founded by engineer Georgi Atanasov Horev. Registered in 2000 pursuant to Order No 8993 of the Plovdiv Regional Court, company file No 3514, the company has since been involved in the design of villa projects, industrial enterprises, engineering infrastructure, residential and office buildings.

With regard to the new scope of its business, in 2004 MIX-RH LTD. changed its name to MIX CONSULT LTD. pursuant to Order No 3982 of the Plovdiv Regional Court. It renewed its licence (No LK-000144/20 September 2004) and became a member of the Bulgarian Association of Architects and Consulting Engineers (BAACE), of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber (BCC) and the Bulgarian Water Association (BWA).

A NEW BEGINNING

Year 2007. In response to the changes occurring in the sphere of economy, the investors' growing need for thorough planning, coordination and control of all investment process phases and stages, e.g. research, design, budgeting, construction, start-up and final financial realisation of the project, and the newly opened market niche in construction, the company was restructured and transformed into a joint stock company, MIX CONSULTING GROUP JSC, pursuant to Order No 9604 of the Plovdiv Regional court on company file No 4827/2007. It changed the focus of its operation and specialised in the MANAGEMENT OF LARGE INVESTMENT PROJECT through provision of Consulting Engineer services in DESIGN and CONSTRUCTION in compliance with the FIDIC principles.

The company is represented by its Executive Director engineer Rumen Georgiev Horev who received specialised training in Construction Contract Management under the FIDIC contract conditions (Red Book). The company employs over 50 highly qualified experts (architects, engineers, and economists), all of them with the relevant expertise and certification. The company's two offices based in Plovdiv and Sofia cover the regions of South Bulgaria with a centre in Plovdiv, and North and West Bulgaria with a centre in Sofia. They are fitted with all the technical and mobile equipment that would ensure the high quality of the above services.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The methods employed by our specialists and used by most of the other European countries, are based on the requirements of EU Directives and the principles of the FIDIC contract conditions, adapted to and harmonised with the effective legislation and norms in the Republic of Bulgaria.

Our active involvement and control throughout the investment process contributes to the optimisation of the designer solution with a view to ensuring smooth construction, regular payments and prompt reaction in unanticipated situations.

Our expertise can assist the Investor in achieving maximum precision when determining project duration and planning the funds to be invested in the project by months, and the Investor's direct participation in the project management can be limited to the right to intervene, approve and make strategic decisions.

Following preliminary consultations with the respective specialists on the Investor's team for the purpose of establishing the volume and specific features of investment intentions, we can also provide assistance in the preparation of a PROJECT ACTIVITY PLAN containing the main steps towards the final aim, i.e. the Project's successful realisation.
